Is Spring Getting Closer?
We will probably get a blast of Winter yet, but today we were able to go for a walk after work and do so in daylight, as well as a temperature of 15C on the plus side. We also saw the first Red-winged Blackbirds of 2009. There must be a Spring out there somewhere. Thank God!

Not too fast, we have a ski holiday booked for the middle of March, we would like some snow!
It seems to me that the best we can do is pray for isolated pockets of frigid weather in areas of Quebec, along with localized snow showers.
Spring? What's that? We had a taste of it last week when the temperature got to 0 degrees, but now we are dealing with windchills of -45. Spring? No sign of it yet, but I'm keeping an eye out.
If it is any consolation Deb, there is a blanket of snow here this morning. The black birds will be shivering.
