Fake News on Lion Lamb
This may be as good a day as any to fill you in about the spam comments which have plagued my Lion Lamb blog since the beginning of the new year. If you are seeking cures for genital warts, herpes, HIV or want to enlarge certain body parts, not to mention finding a witch doctor who can bring back your errant mate, you will be disappointed by my efforts to delete these messages.
This has become a daily challenge and I'm sure that I have removed a thousand or more in recent weeks. They become more clever in how they resist deletion, which is frustrating, to say the least. Unfortunately Blogger is not helpful in offering solutions, so I continue my lonely task of squashing these bugs. The origin for these noxious messages seems to move around from Nigeria to Russia, Ukraine to Turkmenistan (I kid you not.)
I have figured out how to scroll down through the comments with relative speed, expunging them as I go, but several times I have inadvertently deleted your thoughtful responses to particular blogs. I really value comments and they offer perspectives that I haven't necessarily considered.
I appreciate your patience and I invite you to persist with me. Try not to imagine my vocabulary on the days when the fake comments are legion.

David, I'm sure I can speak on behalf of many readers when I say that your blogs are an excellent read and thought-provoking.
It's too bad there are people out there who just seem to have way too much time on their hands and want to spoil things. Keep up the fight against these spammers.
I appreciate the affirmation Roger. May we never need the help of the miraculous witch doctors!
