Thank God for Spring!

I have been hauling my camera on walks during the past few weeks but despite the unseasonably warm weather the plants and creatures have stayed on a more traditional timeline.
Here are some photos from a Second Marsh saunter yesterday. I thank God for the changing seasons and the arrival of Spring.

Thanks for these, David. I always love spring and fall - the transitional seasons - because they remind me of the promise of things to come. (In my case, graduation and the chance to reflect on a year's worth of work, and the start of hockey season respectively!)

Thanks for sharing yet again.

We have snow this morning! The moisture is good, but the kids were hauling out their boots again this morning. On the bright side, the grass is green now and we are starting to see buds on the trees. Yippee!

Deborah, did I not tell you a few weeks ago that winter is just around the corner for you?

Having lived in north, central and southern Sask., the one thing in common was that winter can suddenly show up at virtually any time of the year(had a snowstorm in Deschambault Lake, Sask. in the first week of June when I was there!).

But don't worry, I'm pretty sure you'll have a solid three weeks of summer at least.

I agree Ian about Spring and Fall --my favourite seasons.

I took off my snow tires Deb, so we should get another surprise snowfall. I see that Montreal is getting snow today. Don't listen to that "Job's comforter" Johnny!
